We started here too.
Scan2Remember began with two losses. One of us, Daniel, lost his mother. The other, Shai, lost his grandfather. Different families, the same quiet heartbreak that comes after the funeral is over: a headstone with a name and two dates, photographs scattered across phones and drawers, and the slow, frightening realization that the small details — a voice, a laugh, the stories only we knew — were already beginning to fade.
"A headstone can hold a name. It was never built to hold a life."
So we built the thing we wished we'd had — a free digital memorial page where photos, stories, and videos live in one place the whole family can add to, for generations. The digital memorial is, and always will be, free. We didn't want anyone priced out of holding onto the people they love.
