Scan2Remember began with two losses.

One of us, Daniel, lost his mother. The other, Shai, lost his grandfather. Different families, the same quiet heartbreak that comes after the funeral is over: a headstone with a name and two dates, photographs scattered across phones and drawers, and the slow, frightening realization that the small details — a voice, a laugh, the stories only we knew — were already beginning to fade.

We tried to gather what was left. It was painfully hard. The memories lived in too many places, with too many people, and there was nowhere to bring them together so they'd last.

So we built the thing we wished we'd had. Scan2Remember gives every family a free digital memorial page — photos, stories, and videos, gathered in one place the whole family can add to, for generations. And for those who want it, a weatherproof QR memorial plaque as an add-on: a small code for the grave, urn, or home that lets anyone who visits scan it and meet the person, not just the dates.

That's our whole mission — to give people the option to keep their loved ones present, not just remembered. The digital memorial is, and always will be, free. We didn't want anyone priced out of holding onto the people they love.
